Teac V-370 Stereo Cassette Deck (IOB w/ manual) for sale in Berlin, OH
Unit has been in storage for a couple decades now. Kept in the box with all of the original packaging, temperature-controlled environment, etc. Appears as though it wasn't used much at all, hard to say A couple hairline scratches, discoloration from age/storage, dust; the box is a bit beat up/dirty due to storage and/or serving as the shipping container at one point in time. Everything but the remote should be in the box. If I find the remote between now and when this sells, I'll gladly include it - no sign of it right now though Appears to be fully operational, everything adjusts properly, level meters react to changes in volume, Dolby buttons respond properly. The cassette door tends to stick when opening, which I attribute to age/storage. Probably just needs lubricated (it still opens regardless) As with all tape decks, I can't advise you on changing the belt or heads. It sounds good to my ears, and operates as intended - but you may feel that it could benefit from a replacement of the moving parts, as noted; of which I assume no liability. If you know what you're doing, have at it - but I'm not responsible for the qualitative condition of these components. It works properly and that's all I can guarantee. Manufactured from '91 to '95 Very hard to find in this condition Some manufacturer details: The main features of the TEAC V-370 are: 2 heads, mechanical 3 digit tape counter, tape type selection and capable of handling normal, chrome and metal tapes, belt driven single-capstan transport. Typical front loading cassette deck with the cassette compartment located on the center of the deck. Tape eject is operated mechanically and the cassette needs to be placed with the side to be played facing forward in the cassette well. Level meters used on the V-370 are generic digital peak reading meters. Soft-touch controls for fast and easy transport function selection of the V-370. The Dolby-B system reduces tape hiss on tapes recorded on the V-370 by as much as 10 dB at the highest frequencies. Connection to other audio components for playback can be achieved by a RCA cable and recording from a source by a RCA cable.
